The album Redneck Reservation tackles some difficult themes of love and loss, perhaps most bravely and poignantly on Still, a number about losing a child to a stillbirth — something McArthur faced a few years ago — and subsequent feelings of isolation. - Roger Levesque, The Edmonton Journal - Entertainment section, Jan. 2019

Indigenuity is a very well produced album with plenty of hooks for music fans. The eight songs on here display her talent and undeniable voice - Jamie Funk, Divide & Conquer Music Review, Dec. 2019

Melody McArthur isn’t wasting time. She released Indigenuity back in 2019 and within about a year she released another full length entitled Rising Waters. This is a short album coming in at just over twenty minutes. The songs however pack a lot of punch and felt like there were precise pop gems. This is a great followup and truly shines a light on the range of talent she has. - Dave Weston, Divide & Conquer Music Review, Nov 2020 Link: https://www.divideandconquermusic.com/indie-music-album-reviews/archives/11-2020/4
Kizmet is arguably her best release yet. The seven songs come in around twenty-five minutes and go down very smoothly. Up first is “Unceded” and McArthur is in top notch form here. She dabbles with flow, classical singing and more. There are a lot of bases covered with the vocal approach alone. It’s a shimmering, upbeat song that does mention things like taking your own path, cancel culture and finding what you want - Jamie Funk, Divide & Conquer Music Review, April 29, 2022
